Best Friends Veterinary Center is a full-service hospital treating dogs, cats, birds and small mammals, with a focus on wellness and preventative care.  We have convenient weekday and Saturday hours and drop-off care for working pet parents.

Our services include complete medical, surgical, diagnostic and dental care with an emphasis on preventative medicine.  Cost efficient pre-paid wellness plans for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats are available.  Routine grooming services, including regular and medicated bathing are also provided.

Best Friends Veterinary Center is a well established clinic, caring for Chicagoland pets for over 50 years.  Sauganash Animal Hospital was established in 1957, and changed ownership to Dr. Benson in 1989.  She later renamed it Best Friends Veterinary Center to better reflect the value that she and her entire team place on their relationships with clients and their best friends. 

 We are located in Sauganash, on Peterson Avenue, 1 mile east of the Edens Expressway with convenient parking.
